hello there ... somebody pl help
had bought this dvd player some yrs ago and realised the mistake that it was not multiregion ... i am now stuck with this player but dont know what to do as a lot of movies are on region 1 only ...
pl help ... need to know the region hack code for sony model DVP S345

Can`t be done.
Can be hacked at a cost but in my view you`re better off buying a new region-free unit for the same or less money.

Why cant it be done and how much will it cost. Ive just brought a sony slvd 950 gs region 2 and am looking for help!!!!!!!!

It can`t be done because most big brand DVD players are single region only.

You have to actually change the hardware within the machine to make it multi region. This means either buying a kit and soldering it yourself (risky without the experience) or sending your player off to be modified.

I haven`t been in the market for such things for a while now, so don`t really know where the best places are to get it modded. Multi-region magic and Techtronics are two names I remember, but I`m not sure how reliable they are or how expensive.

Hey Alintoby.. just go back to the shop and ask do they know someone who can make the multiregion mod for ya.. might set you back 50quid or so.

blimey mister 50 quid........might aswell send it back to the shop and get a different one. only got it for £170......you sure thats the only way?
