Could someone clarify for me does the LG3350E have a remote hack/hacks to disable regional coding and Macrovision? Also could someone let me know how the remote hacked player handles RCE. Or do I have to stump up the extra 50 quid for the Techtronics chipped machine.

Remote hacks are available for multi-region and VCD playback. At present the only way to get a player with Macrovision defeat is to buy the Techtronics one. More info here:
