Page 1 of Phillips remote hack question

I am looking to buy a US DVD player that I can hack. I have many DVD movies from Japan and I also have some from China. I want to be able to still see the new US films on it, but I understand that the new US movies will not play on region free players. Here is my question. Will a US Phillips DVD player work with the remote Hack.

I also wondererd if the new shipment of Sampo DVE620 from 800.com still do the multiregion remote hack. I am looking to buy a DVD player within the next few days.

The RC6 hack works with US philips models......but to watch PAL discs you must have a multi-standard TV or a PAL to NTSC convertor

Ok grate now the question is this, were can I get the "All in One" remote that transmits on the frequency that is needed for the hack. IE the one mentioned in the hack is only available from the UK site, not the US. Is there a comprable US model that will work, just like that one.

I believe Radio Shack do a similar model...but if you check the ONEFORALL.com website, you should be able to find a retailer

I have gone to the all for one web site and the only way to get the model mentioned is only in Europe not the US. I will try to see if I can find it at Radio Shack... Could you tell me what it needs to be able to do like what frequency and all the details.
