How to make my DVD Samsung 611 region free

I just bought a samsung 611 and it`s "locked" for region 2.
How do I unlock my DVD for seeing movies of the region 1 (for example) ?
Can anyone help me in all the steps for unlocking it?

Does it work forever?

Do I lose my waranty when unlocking it ?
