Page 1 of Does anyone know the Multiregion hack for Durabrand PVS1960?

I`m looking to buy a Durabrand PVS1960 while on holiday (sold at Wal Mart). The price is under £160, so it seems great value for 2 screens and the portable DVD player.

Does anyone know the hack from R1 to multi? I believe Durabrand is now sold at Asda (as owned by Wal Mart!). Are they any good.

try this it works on the P1430D so worth ago (the one sold in asda)


press power on
press dvdmode on your remote
press open/close
press setup
key in 8888
press next
ver 2 (region 2) will appear on the screen
press right arrow untill display shows ver 255 (might display diffrent on other modles)
press open/close
your player should now be region free
