Does anyone have the Region Free Code for this player

Open disc tray
Using remote control, slowly enter 8 1 3 2 8
On the screen you will now see Region 2 displayed.
Using enter button, press until Region 9
Close disc lid.

Your unit should now play anything! Good isn`t it?

Except I have a JVC DV-RM1 combined DVD and VHS recorder.........

I believe JVC are pretty much unhackable,(at least this model)..........

Any idea where/how much to get it chipped to multi region ?

To enable VCD playback, you must first apply the region free hack as described by mwee123456. After applying the region free hack, do the following:

Power on the unit
With the tray door open, press the following buttons on the remote control: 0001

Press play and close the tray door (you may also close the tray door then press play). This hack would not work for me until I applied the region free hack first.

My question is:
how to make it play DVD again if I input the code for playing VCD(0001)? or it still can play DVD after the inputing 0001? anyone can confirm?
