Does anybody know if there is a multi region hack for the UK PlayStation 2?

IF YOU HAVE BOUGHT IT RECENTLY THERE IS NO HACK AS SONY HAVE FIXED THEIR SO CALLEED LITTLE FLAW.
SERIUOSLY THOUGH AS PLAYSTATION 2 IS A FINE MACHINE ITS NOT ALL UP TO SCRATCH.
DREAMCAST STILL GETS MY VOTE EVEN THOUGH I OWN THE TWO OF THEM.
DUE TO ORIGINALITY OF GAMES AND GAMEPLAY ALSO LIFESPAN OF THE GAMES, IF YOU WERE TO ASK ME WHICH ONE I WOULD BUY NOW, DEFINITLY DREAMCAST!
DONT TAKE ANY NOTICE OF THE SEGA CHANGE AROUND BECAUSE OVERALL SEGA TOOK MORE OF A MARKET SHARE THAN PS2 AND PS ONE AT CHRISTMAS AND DUE TO THIS I THINK THEY DID SELL MORE UNITS!

Yes, but they`ve stopped making Dreamcasts! So, while they will be some new games out this year, there isn`t going to be many more. With a PS2 you are only at the start of the releases rather than at the end.

Buy a DC now if you want a cheep console with some excellent games that will last you for a year. But don`t expect to be seeing new releases after this year. I`d buy a DC now, then wait for a year and buy a PS2 when they drop down to £200. Oh, except I`ve already got both ;-)

oh well as long as shenmue 2 comes out here i will be happy.
