Yes, but note recent released firmware version 3.4c (available from the Sampo site) disables the Region hack and the Macro off facility.

the player could come with a few diff hacks, but it ain`t a prob if you got a burner you can just download
a firmware that allows multiregion and disables the macro and your fixed .
