Hitachi DVP305e hack

Sorry if this question has been asked before.
I have a Hitachi DVP305e firmware version 3.04 and have tried the remote
hack, but it didn`t work.
Does the All 4 One remote hack work, also can a 3Com Palm III be configured to act as the remote to hack the player.
The reason I ask is that I tried the Palm III hack for the Samsung 709
but it didn`t work.

Any help would be appreciated.
