NTSC Converter !?

Ok, so I`ve finally given in with the Black & White picture that I get from playing region 1 Disks, and I`m now looking for a way to convert the NTSC signal to PAL.
I know there is a cable advertised at "Link Online" but at £59.99 I want to make sure it`ll work. So if any one has one, or knows if they work please let me know.

As far as i know the cable you mention only converts to pal 60 not pure pal so if backing up r1`s is your intention save your £60 and look round for another solution
