Page 1 of Hitachi DVP250U , DVP505U and DVP305U Wil the Samsung DVD-709 hack work for the USA models?

Will the Samsung DVD-709 hack turn off the macrovision copyguard for the Hitachi DVP250U , DVP505U and DVP305U models ?
Is the Hitachi DVP305U similiar to the Hitachi DVP305e for hack?

The 305 is a samsung clone so it will for a while.
The 505 & 250 are not samsung clones so NO!

I have a 505E and it`s a beauty!
came full multi-region and macro disabled cost me 330 smackers though.

I think the 305 loses multi-region if the power is turned of?

What about reading CD,CD-R,CD-RW and mp3?
The reason I asked about the U and E is that in Toronto,Ontario, Canada
all the units have an U at the end instead of a E.

The U stand`s for United States Model I think which as a canadian you would get this has Component outputs

The E stand`s fro european model and has a scart socket.

I bought my player from multiregionmagic already macro disabled & multiregion.

The Hitachi 505 is not a SH*TE samsung clone so it will not work!
The Hitach 305 is a Samsung clone so the hack might.
