try this hack it worked for me

* Switch on the DVD player - you don`t need to open the drawer.
* Press 1, 6, 7, 1 and 9 one by one on the remote.
* A hidden configuration menu comes up. Press OK on the remote, then 0 to change the configuration number to 0.
* You should now see that the region is set to ALL.
* Press EXIT on the remote.

Slight downside with the player, although it converts NTSC to PAL, quality is not very good (player pauses every 3~4 seconds). If player output set as NTSC, no problem.
Conclusions: If your TV cannot handle NTSC, you won`t be able to watch region 1 DVDs, if it is, this is a bargain DVD player.

Big problem. Tryed this hack

And screen came up changed to multi region 0, and now player crashes half way through movie! :/ Tryed changing back to region 2, still crashed. How can I fix it?
