Page 1 of Urgenthelp needed for Panasonic DVD-P55

Hello, i just got back from hong kong with this sexy little player. It should be region-free, as i got it converted over there.
O
ne problem it plays all regions except 2! Which is a big problem,as we are in Brtain.

I don`tget it, because the player was originally a region 2 player, but now it can`t play any R2`s.

Please can some one help me out, or post a remote hack thanks!

ntsc panasonic players cannot play PAL :(

the player was region 2 NTSC(japan) NOT region 2 PAL(uk).
NO ONE can help you to fix it to play pal discs !!!
now the player is ntsc multyzone only.

It would be interesting to compare a PAL version and NTSC version to see if it can be done but getting both players here at the same time would be almost impossible :(

in the LV-75 i tried to do this with frederic`s help (replacing eproms,ext.)
& it`s impossible to make it play pal discs(even in outside monitor).
in L-50 us.model-it`s ok.
