Page 1 of LG3200E - Region hacked, still shows R2 on the setup etc etc

Hi folks,

This is wierd I`ve hacked my player to Region 1, it still shows region 2 on the setup TV aspect thingy. The worring thing is I thought once I had hacked the machine to region 1 that it would make my R2 collection redundant or at least I would have to re hack it back to R2 but this is not the case.

Can some one please explain why this is the case i.e. I can now play R1 and R2 without playing around with the hacks all the time.

I experienced the same thing when I tried setting my LG3200E player to region 1 mode expecting my region 2 DVD`s would not play. However I can confirm that setting the player to code 0 does allow you to play region 1 dvd`s as I have played one successfully.
