Sounds familiar!!! Do you also have the enhanced hack that also fixes playback problems such as on Gladiator disc 2 etc??

I too am searching high and low to find out how to chip/hack my sanyo dvd player (in New Zealand). By the sounds of your post, you have had difficulties!! Are you saying that it is not worth the effort and to just get rid (sell) of it???? as that seems to be on the cards for me.......

I have the Hack for this DVD Player and it works fine. It is a fews files that need to be burned to a CD-ROM and then put in the player. The hack came from Warren Butler who I think has stopped handing out this hack.
