Page 1 of RCA HTS1000 or Panasonic CV50 hack, anyone?

I have two region 1 DVD players (I live in Philadelphia), an RCA HTS1000 and a Panasonic CV50. I`ve seen a hundred leads to possible hacks, but always end up with diddly squat >:( .

Has anybody got a remote-control region hack for either or both of them? Especially the RCA HTS1000? I`ve discovered that RCA is labeled Thomson in the UK, but I can`t find a Thomson HTS1000 DVD player anywhere :/ .
