Page 1 of I really need HELP!

I have a Philips dvdrw 880 in sept 04 I used the region hack 121 212 005 001 to change it to region one then put 002 to return it to region one but just before christmas my dvd recorder decided to not play any so I was left stranded because my pc had a virus and I have just got a new one. So once again I have the codes and I have tryed the codes but nothing happened so I did them again and again, and then something happened my dvd recorder decided not to responded to the play 159 and just sits there with no disk I have no region 1 or 2 now. Please can anybody tell me what to do if I can fix it or is it going to that place they electronic heven. I would be very greatful if anybody could help
