Need hack for Yamaha 510.

A trip to Argos required here Darco - you need the One For All 6.

Set up the OFA6 with code 0539
Then key in 085
The display on the 510 should alter to a load of dashes.
Then key in 222 222 005 255 followed by PLAY.

Not sure whether that gives you total multiregion (ie like a bypass) or not, and you may fall foul of RCE discs.

This hack was published in What HiFi June 2001 p.41

Incidentally, they gave the player 5 out of 5, and it won their supertest - it was compared with CyberHome ADM512 (3 stars), Grundig GDV130 (3), Hitachi DVP305E (4), Lecson DVD900 (5), LG3350e (3), Logix 3000 (2), Matsui DVD122 (4 - yes really !), Samsung DVD511 (4) and Thomson DTH4000 (4).

I have read with interest your notes on the hack for the yamaha S510 as I am concidering purchasing this unit, however I have scanned the latest Argo catalogue for the One For all 6, which I assume is a remote control unit and can not find this item. I have seen a OFA5... do you have some more details on this specific item? to help me track the correct thing down
