Page 1 of Philips DVP 3100V

Would anyone know a hack for the Philips DVP 3100V dvd/vcr combi? I have tried many of those posted for other Philips but nothing happens. This is not sold as multi-regional so I am hoping it is still possible to make it multi-regional as having moved from one country to another, we have a mixture of DVD regions.
Thanks for your help and I fully support these websites which provide these hacks.

There is No Handset Hack for this Combi..it needs a Firmware Update to Make it Region Free.

The Reason is the Philips DVP-3100V is NOT Actually made by Philips it is an LG O.E.M Product ...ie made by LG and Badged as Philips

Download the File from the Link Marked this zip file (5KB size) (As it says it is a Zipped File) ..once downloaded it is called LG5000.zip

Unzip the File...once Unzipped it becomes a Folder Called RMTM0000 and a Text Instruction File ...Burn the Folder RMTM0000 ( NOT the Text File) to a CDR ...Put the CDR into your Combi and follow the On-Screen Instructions..And Job Done.

Obviously use it at your Own Risk
