Page 1 of FERGUSON DVD 400 REGION HACK

I have found that you can change the region on a Ferguson dvd 400 by following the
Proline hack.
1. Press the Menu button on your remote control
2. Press the buttons 1, 6 and then 7 on your remote control in order, one at a time
A message will appear "key 1-6 to set region"
3. Press number to select region, I don`t know if pressing the Mute button will select multi-region
3. Exit the Menu and insert the disc to play

Can anyone tell me if this is a long term solution or will my dvd player lock up after a set number of region changes?

This does not work!

I have tried this hack on 2 FERGUSON DVD400 machines now and it works fine. Maybe you have a different firmware version. The version can be seen by pressing the menu button twice.
