Hack required for alba1002.
need to change the alba1002 to a multi region if anyone can help

Region code hack posted by Dazza8, October 27 2005:
Open tray, make sure its empty.
close the tray up and press TV/DVDR
press RETURN
press DISPLAY
now ENTER 8880

A message appears on the screen saying Region Free.

Hi there, I got an alba1002 last week and tried this hack but it didn`t work.

After pressing return and display nothing happened and the PR only allowed me to go up to 69 when entering the numbers...am I doing something wrong?

The hack worked on my new machine yesterday. Just try again.

Hi thanks for responding, do I need to have it on a certain screen to see the entries and are you supposed to see something happening when pressing `Return` and `Display`?

Also do you see the numbers being entered on the display of the player as mine seems to think I`m looking for a channel and it`ll only go up to 69.

:( Have tried this hack - nothing happens - no lights flash - no message and still can`t play other regions.......... where have I gone wrong??
