Page 1 of rowa 280 macrovision does not work,region hack required

i too purchased a rowa 280 and i have the model with the service port on the rear ,the macrovision does not work on this machine as i can backup my dvds onto tape no problem i used to use a video enhancer to backup my dvds but with this machine i dont .can anyone tell me if this is the pioneer one or the other type and how i can hack it for multiregion

I NOW HAVE THE REMOTE CODE FOR THE ROWA THIS WILL DISABLE THE MACRVISION AND ALSO MAKE IT MULTI REGION..EMAIL ME FOR THE CODE.

This community/forum is designed specifically for region hacks etc.. Please post your hack if you have it, for all to benefit. If you have the "non-Pioneer" variety, I`m sure many would be interested. If you have the "SETUP....CONDITION....1 etc" hack, please don`t bother, that`s for Pioneer variants that are already upgraded to Multi Region.

HERE IS THE REMOTE HACK IT DOES WORK ON MY ROWA 100%.
1.PRESS THE OPEN CLOSE BUTTON ON YOUR REMOTE TO OPEN THE TRAY.

2.PRESS THE ZOOM BUTTON ON YOUR REMOTE.

3.PRESS THE A-B BUTTON ON YOUR REMOTE

4.PRESS THE UP BUTTON ON YOUR REMOTE.

5.PRESS THE LEFT BUTTON ON YOUR REMOTE

6.PRESS THE DOWN BUTTON ON YOUR REMOTE

7.PRESS THE RIGHT BUTTON ON YOUR REMOTE.
THIS IS NOW REGION FREE AND MACROVISION DIABLED.

IF THIS DOES NOT WORK DO AS FOLLOWS
1.PRESS OPEN CLOSE ON YOUR REMOTE TO OPEN TRAY

2.PRESS THE BUTTONS 1,1,1 AND THEN 1 ON YOUR REMOTE IN ORDER ONE AT A TIME.

That is the Wharfedale 750s Region hack ...

I did suggest trying that in this post

I would expect that this probabily does work but with regard to macrovision I doubt that this will be disabled by that hack .. it may be that your video does not respond to macrovision
