Using Remote Control Press 5 7 5 3 8
Current Region is Displayed On Screen

SAMSUNG DVD-V6000
No previous hack instructions have worked for me. The only way I`ve found to make this unit region free is to add just one further instruction into Hackeroonies posting.
THIS DEFINITELY WORKS
Turn On Combi
Using Remote Control Press the DVD Button (Samsung Logo Appears)
Using Remote Control Press Subtitle Button
*USING REMOTE CONTROL PRESS REPEAT BUTTON*
Using Remote Control Press 5 7 5 3 8
Current Region is Displayed On Screen
Using Remote Control Press 9 For Region Free
Using Remote Control Press Subtitle Button
Using Remote Control Open & Close the Disk Tray
Turn The Combi Off and On

I follow the second hack and I initially saw number 2 appear on screen and changed it to 9. It didn`t play region 3 DVD but still plays region 2. If I repeat the steps I now have a 9 appearing. Any ideas why it won`t play the DVD? I know the DVD is ok as I can play it on my laptop.
