Can anyone help ? Please...i haven`t found this info anywhere!

Folks

Try this One

Put Unit in DVD Mode
Open Disk Tray (Leave Open)
Using Remote Control Press 9 7 3 5 ( If any Hand signals appear on screen Ignore them)

Region Code Menu Appears

Using Remote Control Directional Keys Enter Selection and Change Region Code To 0 (Zero) for Region Free
Using Remote Control Press OK to Confirm Setting
Using Remote Control Directional Keys Go to Exit Set Up and Press OK to Exit Menu
Close Disk Tray

you may find that you can also apply Hack with Disk Tray Closed..Try it if the above Hack does not work

Fantastic! This works also for Philips MCD190

The MCD139B/12 does not have a tray, it`s a door that opens upwards.

Tries all suggested hacks but none work.
Nothing happens when in DVD mode (tray open or closed) and pressing on r/c 9 7 3 5.
No hand signals appear on screen.
No Region Code Menu Appears.

I.E. hack does not work on the MCD-139B (MCD139B/12)

Any ideas PLEASEEEEEE? 8)
