My mate just bought one from Asda. Has a multi-region hack surfaced that doesn`t need to be burned onto a disc. Thanks!!

It is the only way to hack this player, sadly, as there is no remote hack - if you`re struggling to find someone to do it (eg try a local library or friendly relative with a CD-writer), e-mail me at styalc[at]moc.054aera and I`ll do one for you free of charge :

I have just purchased the above and thought it was a multi region DVD capability, without any problem accessing region 1.
It appears I am wrong!

Can you help me with this problwm.

It`s not multiregion out of the box - you need to burn the text file to a CD-R as details on the link to Area 450 above.

Don`t forget to send off for your three free DVDs !
