Page 1 of Sony RDR-HX780 How can I record onto the Harddrive my DVD of this recorder?

:) Hello,
How can I record onto the hard disk of this recorder DVD`S that are copy protected?
Help or link to a post would be great...
It is mostly the disney dvd`s that cause problems. with children I am fed up of re-buying DVD`S because the kids have misttreated them after countless viewings ...
I bought the recorder to protect the original.

Sorry - I`m a newbie - but looked far and wide and coul;dn`t find a thread ...

Don`t think you can directly. The only way is to create a copy on a PC removing the protection and then copy it onto the hard drive.

Obviously this is something that shouldn`t be discussed here but google is your friend ;)
