Page 1 of dansai 852 or decca ddv2110 ? which is best

hi, thanks for reading i`m after a new dvd player i origianaly wanted a dansai 852 but tesco`s has sold out and i`ve seen the decca in powerhouse only problem is i would need a hack for multi region/macro so if enyone has any info on this machine i`d be very gratefull (+ pal 50 would be helpfull)

they are both the same machine I`ve tried both

better still go to courts and buy the decca ddv 5100
looks a lot better and without the annoying ding when you open the tray.

Whichever u go 4 the hacks are all the same

on remote...press
setup....stop....previous...next..
sorts out region and macro
has problems with some disneys though!!!

cheers dude a friend of mine just got hacks for the pacific dvd player from asda with easy hacks for everything including genuine pal 50 (for converting ntsc to proper pal 50) it`s only £90 plus if i don`t like it i can take it back but thanks for advice anyway

I tried 2 of them they both went straight back.
u r better looking at the ones u posted about.
have a look at the judder on the pacific when converting ntsc > pal
then if the tv permits switch setting to ntsc and see how it should look.
the pacifics are now made elsewhere ( so i`ve been told )

best I`ve found is the x-wave i`m using plays anything, proper conversion
best pound 4 pound value i`ve found around £160-£180
also the usual mp3 vcd karioke(dont think its spelt like that)

yeah the x-wave is very good i`ve already got one all i`m looking is a cheap machine for the bedroom as my old but trusty samsung 709 is on it`s last legs (nearly 2 years old + it disne like branched discs ie the abyss) any ideas? samsung is out of the eqasion as they don`t like cdr`s

ARAGOM i bow to your superior knowledge and wisshed i had listned the pacific 750 is truly flawed in so many ways and as yousaid the pal 50 conversion is awfull (especialy if there`s a lot going on) also the sound encoding is very bad and it`s black & white when first turned on (and the manual is awfull and disne help at all)


oh well looks like it`s another x-wave (which is very very similar to the cyberhome machines only difference being that the x-wave actualy works) although i might give richer sound a try as my dad got an acoustic solutions machine for £79 and it works a treat only problem is i don`t know if macro can be removed
