(Help) Trying to Record R1/R2 To Video

geno (Harmless) posted this on Saturday, 23rd February 2002, 13:25

I have just been playing around , I have set up a cyber player with a sharp video, I can copy R2 + Some R1, the odd one the picture jumps and does all sorts of funny stuff, then it will be ok for a few seconds then play up. Is there any products that I can purchase! . Please note the copying is for my private use within my home,Only 1 player, plenty of rooms with video`s.

Jim

if it`s copying r2 ok then the problem is poor ntsc/pal 50 conversion unfortunatly a macro buster will not help (also i am assuming that macro is disbled anyway) if macro is permanantly on the picture would be unstable all the time and would effect r1 & r2 equaly the only solution is a new machine (sorry) if you definatly want to do this the best machine i`ve come across is the x-wave (about £150) try ringos.co.uk as i have had good dealings with these fallas in the past and i`ve tried most of the common machines(it also plays mp3 vcd svcd cdrw cdr dat & dvd rom)
