Need a DVD Region Hack for Sony Play Station 2 (Model: SCPH -30004)

Is this metod work with new model PS2?

Bypass DVD Country-Protection:
During boot-process:
1) Keep Circle, Right and L1 pressed
2) keep holding L3 and joystick down during boot.
3) boot without a CD

In the Browser insert your DVD. Confirm the DVD-option with Triangle and R1, keep right
pressed until the dvd-menu is available. Now press Circle and R1 and you are done. Use
always a original Playstation Digital Controller.

there is`nt one but you can get a region-x memory card this does the same thing and costs £20

Apparently one of the PS magazines is giving it free on a cover disc next month (PSi2?).

There are problems with the newer model playstations (i.e. it don`t work)

it does work with newer models but only till u turn the power off ur console
otherwise u need the update code from the website http://www.dvdregionx.com

Buy the DVD Advantage pack from play for only £17.99 and u get the region X disk which allows u 2 play DVD regions 1-6, also get a remote control and a scart lead to improve picture quality, just ordered mine. Bargain! What r the magazine gunna give?
