Page 1 of I need help on hacking my Pacific 750, please help

I dont have a SCART TV (but its on my shopping list) but my VCR has a scart input socket so I was told if I hacked the macrovision I could plug the 750 into the VCR and then access the DVD on the TV.

I followed the instructions for the hack with no problems but when it gets to the stage where it says `Select Enable or Disable` I dont see anything. Is this because these options appear on the screen normally or do they appear on the front panel of the 750?

Any help appreciated.

I have a Pacific 750 on a TV with no scart socket and ive got mine to work okay.

Try this

TV- VCR via AV (Arial) lead
VCR - DVD via SCART

make sure you watch the DVD etc through the AV channel be it 1,2,3 mines just video or whatever your video channel is i.e. 6 or 7

open the tray using the remote, type in 8,4,2,1 select region 9 or all by continually pressing the enter key till 9 or all is shown close the tray (multi region)
open the tray using the remote, type in 4,5,6,1 macro enabled should be shown. press the enter key macro disabled should now be shown. close the tray (macro off)

all done
