This is a new machine and is fab, even plays DVD-RW

SVCD VCD MP3 DT audio decoder etc

Hoping someone has a way

Yeah, I think the machine is quite impressive with DVD`s but when i run a VCD film the sound time is messed up, i.e. it looks like your watching dubbed movie, i am finding this quite anoying!

Any ideas, do i need a new audio cable? e.g. optic

You need a software upgrade. Contact technical support listed in your manual and they will send you a disc. My set now works great with VCD`s.

Anyone got a web address for the software upgrade. I`ve heard its only 500k so surely someone could post is somewhere :)

Hi Pauline, did you manage to get a hack for the macrovision? I got the lipsynch problem resolved but have not managed to disable the macrovision yet!

HI, I have been on the SM Electronic web site and it looks like there is no hack for macrovision,but will keep trying.Pauline.
