Anyone know of a multiregion hack for this system ??

You`ll be lucky, most pioneers need to have a mod chip to make them multiregion!

Are you liking this system? Any positive and negative feedback would be much appreciated. Am narrowing the field down to Denon`s ADV 700 (w/ Mission speaker package) and Pioneer`s less costly version.

I bought one recently without realizing the region-code restriction.

I phoned the Pioneer agent in Vienna (Austria). Technician said he could perform `software` upgrade using his computer which would take only a few minutes, but it would cost me 80 EURO!
He refused to divulge any details. I guess it might be possible to uncripple the unit by sending special code-sequence to the infra-red port.

On the hindsight (don`t we all have perfect hindsight!), i found the 5+1 25W per channel output a little wimpy for my 40m2 living room.
