Not as far as I know, and mine has been done around forty times now to show other people how to do it, and to check different aspects of the hack!!!

im confused i didnt know there was an lg 2280 i thought it was just the 2230 like the one sold in asda where do you grt this 2280 from??

the hack i used for my 2280p is as follows

1) power on player with no disc

2) press"pause"

3) enter 314159 with remote control

4) enter region code of choice i/e 1 or 0

5) press "pause"

6) power off player and wait for a couple of seconds

7) power on player and code should be changed

Trust me guys, this hack DOES NOT work on all 2280`s.

if you perform the first part of the hack and get the "Code - - " message, then it`s worked!

If no code message then the only option is a firmware update or chip.
Recommend talking to Michael at www.switch-it-on.co.uk for a chip, he was extrememly helpful with my LG 2280 which is unhackable.
