Page 1 of remote hack for lg2280p "it works on mine"

1)power on player.

2)press "pause".

3)enter 314159 with remote.

4)CODE will appear on front display,enter region code i/e 0,1,etc.

5)press "pause"

6)power off player and wait a couple of seconds.

7)power on player and enjoy

i bought my player in currys in february 2000, and on the back of the player it says it was made in august 1999, if this makes any difference to whether it works or not. (different firmware)

Nope, it depends on the firware chip Dave, mine is a newer 2280 than yours!
