New to all of this but enjoyed the website for a long time now. Am cuurently in the position of being able to go and buy one of the above. Am looking for anybody`s experiences with any of the named players or anything else around the £350.00 to £400.00 mark. Must be able to play MP3 aswell though so the Sony DACS series is out. would be VERY grateful for any feedback as this is quite a big sum to me. Thanks for anybosy`s help.

Have you heard back from anyone re: the Pioneer? Have you been able to listen to it? I am also investigating Denon`s more costly ADV 700, but haven`t had the chance to go find these systems yet to hear them. Anyone feedback on the Pioneer or Aiwa would be most helpful!

Many thanks!

would love to help you mate but so far no replies from any body `part from your good self! will probably bite the bullet and go with the JVC as I`ve never been let down by this brand previously. If it`s any help, the best, by a LONG shot, prices i`ve managed to come across have been from an outfit called techtronics in Peterborough. don`t know if that breaks any rules, so apologies if so. I`ll let you know in a couple of days if the money`s been wisely spent. Still time to get responses in anybody
Again if it`s any help, the AIwa seems to be let down by "weak" bass btu then again, i`m an average Joe with an average room to put this in so window shattering volume isn`t as important as a great overall picture and sound. Thanks for your interst anyway. All the best in your hunt.
