I`m thinking of buying one of the above sets. Anyone have one and can comment on performance? Anyone know if you can connect them to the PS2 for Dolby Digital and what cable should you use?

Both are good tv`s, great picture and sound performance blended with good styling.

Just as a side topic, you won`t get Dolby Digital from your games on the PS2, on cut scenes yes, but in game is Dolby Pro Logic only i`m afraid.

I was thinking of the Dolby Digital in DVD playback really. Do you know if it`s possible to link the optical out on the PS2 to the Philips sets and which cable you need?

Thanks John, you`re a star. I`m still set on the Philips TV`s but this nugget may just swing me getting a new DVD player too (with a co-ax link)
