I have managed to tape some of my DVD,s by hooking in a scart block via my VCR and the scart 2 in on my tv, however not all my recordings are good for example Jaws and Vertical Limit are very poor and jump around but Pink Floyd The Wall and the Terminator are excellent. Can some one explain why this, is this due to macrovision.

Most DVD`S are macrovisioned for copyright purposes, however there are some that are not, The Terminator suprisingly being one also Harry Potter too.The sonel Mac-Master is an excellent way of removing the
protection and its only Thirty Quid!! Have a look at sonel.com. I have had
one slight problem though in that my Phillips VR1000 S Vhs recorder
gave a cr--p picture but my Panasonic S-Vhs, no problem at all, so there could be a compatability problem with the Phillips but its only a guess !!
