All players sold after 26th october 2000 are firmware upgradeable.
To check which firmware revision you have on the remote
press power on-open-setup-stop-step-menu.
Players sold between 26th october and 25th november will be
v164.The new firmware upgrades it to 180.Essentially what this will
do is disable macro.
Players sold after 25th november have v188 upgradeable to 192/193
and all this does is disable macro.Upgrading from v180 to v192 will
not change anything.Further firmwares will be avialble in the new year
and we will notify the reviewer site when this happens.

Well I purchased mine on the 19th October ver 150 ( Inv 385363), so presumable not upgradeable. Can I arrange to do anything about the play back problems I am having ?
