Ok, Payment for the voucher was cash, but they were insistant that I ( or anybody else ) would not recieve the bonus voucher. If its just a case of luck then so be it, but if its an error on there part then I will speak to them again. A difinitive ruling and a way to enforce it would be appreciated. Thanks Tony

Its true not the best lock, look any where for info on Oxford products and pen tops!, if you are trying to protect your new CBR1000RR or your 15 year old GS550 spend a bit more, when they pinch your bike it is no consolation that you got a "FREE" lock. Oh! except for a fiver P&P.

RE: Sony DAV-S800 Questions?

Have just helped install one of there setups and it seems very good. It has no scart and no RGB but has S output, we used a sqart S + audio to scart and the picture on a Sony 32" widescreen is superb. Sound is a bit upfront but dynamic and great for movies with the effects coming across brilliantly.

I have had mine now for about 3 months and am very pleased with it, good sound, neat package, and easy setup. I also bought the speaker brks and the longer sub to control cable which gives greater flexibility when positioning the sub. I had the non DTS digitheatre before and was pleased with that (apart from some hum ) but this new kit is much better allround and no hum at all so I leave mine turned on, at the sub, and just leave it in standby ready for use. It is used with both DVD and Sky Digital sources and has given no trouble at all. Add to that the standard 2 year warranty and its inho very good value.

fyi I have recently purchased the Panasonic 32PK1 and for a friend the 32PK2 which includes Dolby sound. Both have proved to be superb in both the picture and sound departments. They do not take over the room as the case work is fairly small and so are not as "grand" as some and the buying desision was made after a fairly lengthy side by side comparisons with the Sony 32FX60 and the Philips 32 ???. These comments are only my views so at the end of the day you will be looking at whatever you buy :-) The only other advise I would give is do not buy on price and do not choose your supplier on price, but look about, read some reviews then go to your local independent dealer and look at some sets and then buy locally. 32" WS tv`s are not the easiest of things to return and your local man can pop round to setup things/discuss problems etc. IMHO these tvs and a digital connection DVD or Sky etc are excellent vfm. Best of luck.

Scan response to mail and posts ??

If you look at the post by londonbabe "Scan.Manhattan,Daewoo DVD ......" and the response by Microstar posted at 12.40 today Nelly replied 5 minutes later. So what does it take to get this level of service to mine and other questions from people who have paid good money to Scan and would like a little help.

I am in the same position as you, I too have tried mailing Nelley but have recieved no reply. Same sort of problems although some disks are better than others. If you get anyware could you please let me know, I will do the same if you let me know your mail address.

RE: Upgrading your Firmware. Scan SC-2000 Player

I am trying to upgrade the firmware but am having trouble creating the cdr.
I have written about 4 disks now and all that happens is that the disk is read "loaded" by the player then ejected approx 5 seconds later with nothing changed.
Any suggestions ?

I have recently changed my speaker setup so I have for sale my VideoLogic DigiTheatre system. It is all as new, boxed with the original packaging and manuals. It has 12 months warranty remaining. Read the reviews for a good value great sounding introduction to Dolby Digital.
Loooking for around £160.
