Page 1 of Bush player at ALDI`s

Aldi`s are selling a Bush dvd player from the 31/10/02 priced £79.99 does anyone know anything about this player ie what formats it supports and if it`s hackable to multi region???

Any product numers like for example Bush 2023 or 2024 or whatever?

the model number is 2523 looks like it could be the 2023 but with a dolby digital decoder.

The 2023 is a nice player and adding a 5.1 decoder sounds even better. The MR hack for the 2023 is :- Open tray, 2812, up pops the hidden menu and bobs your uncle.

HELP!!!

Does anyone know if a hack exsists for this player and if it is any good.

They are on at aldi this morning, and in our local store, electrical stuff goes VERY quickly.

Any info would be much appreciated.

THE 2523 FROM ALDI IS MULTI REGION STRAIGHT OUT OF THE BOX.

MY BROTHER AND HIS FRIEND BOTH PURCHASED ONE.

I TRIED CROUCHING TIGER REGION 3 & HIGLANDER REGION 1.

THE ONLY THING IT WOULDN`T PLAY WERE MY STAR WARS VCD`S

IT EJECTED THE DISC SAYING "UNRECOGNIZED FORMAT"

For VCDs 1) Open tray 2) Enter Vcd 3) Close tray & press GOTO repeatedly until the VCD menu drops down, stop pressing GOTO. 4) enter 0 as the time then press PLAY and hey diddle diddle away you f***ing go Yours Jasper

Hi i am looking at this player as we have a new Aldi with tons of them
Does anyone know if there is a macro hack?
I need to do this because of the way my system is set up, ie older tv with only 2 scart sockets.
