is there any problem when playing Region1 NTSC DVDs on region 2 DVD players which are hacked for Region Free. I have a LG 5183 hacked for region free. There is a problem when i play LORD OF THE RINGS (Region1) the picture is Black and white...

If your tv is not ntsc compatible it will show in black and white. Check to see if your dvd player can change the output to PAL.

... or set it to output RGB and use a fully wired (i.e. RGB wired) SCART cable into an RGB enabled SCART socket on your TV.
