rambo (Harmless) posted this on Monday, 25th December 2000, 17:18

I am looking to get a 2nd generation player from tescos.
Does anyone konw how to tell the difference from the box between a first and second generation player?????

Is there such thing as a third generation player, like people here are speculating?

What are the differences between 1st/2nd gen players?

Read these pages and I`m sure you`ll make a wise choice, just remember that a big name does not make a big machine.

My 750S is a 1st gen, I also gave my brother-in-law a 2nd gen for Xmas. Have had no problems at all. Plays all my discs.

Michael.
