Page 1 of ferguson video recorders defeat macrovision

i dont know how or why but ferguson video recorders do not recognise macrovision signals and allow you to make perfect copies of whatever you like( purely for back up of course, tee hee )
this method was mentioned in the faq on this page and i thought i would try it. works like a dream and can be bought cheaply at either ex tv rental shops or ads in local papers

Not all of them do, I have a six head NICAM Fergy and it recognises the macro signal, so be careful before you buy!!

But my Panny VCR is the one that will show defeated macro if it`s possible......
