Learning Remote Controls - Your views please?
Info please from anyone with "all in one" type remote controls.
Need it to operate DVD, AMP, TV, Video, CD & future "freeview" box.
"Macro" keys to e.g. Mute the TV speakers and turn on the amp would be useful too.
Any comments?

http://www.oneforall-int.com/index.html and go to products then remotes then kameleon.
My lutron lighting was not in the book so I phoned the helpline and they downloaded it from the handset.
Looks cool in the dark and it has no backlight button as is has a motion sensor. Eats batteries if you play with it alot.
all the best,
The 42%er.

I have the E-Pilot learning remote control.
It is a total touch screen with auto back light control.
Can control upto 8 different machines and has macro controls.
Try : Lektropacks for further details about £65.

RE: Learning Remote Controls - Your views please?
Is`nt the E-pilot bit of a battery guzzler?
RE: Learning Remote Controls - Your views please?
You have to bear in mind this controls 8 machines, so any all in one is going to get through batteries as this is the primary remote you will be using.
I get through about 4xAAA every 2 months, so all in all, not too bad.
RE: Learning Remote Controls - Your views please?
I`d invest in some re-chargable batteries.

Good idea.
I just think the e-pilot looks alot better than the Khameleon. I have had mine about two years now and am still impressed with it.
The choice is now upto you.

I`ve got the All in One Mosaic currently £59 from Richer Sounds. Now one remote does eveything including the pace digital box. Plenty of macros and even the wife can use it.
