RE: another freeview question
Nope ;-),
You can however request a free to air viewing card from the BBC that will give you most of the FreeView channels over a Sky box and dish. Then you can always ditch Sky if you want.
I`ll dig out the link for the card later.
On Sky, go to the `phone numbers` bit and the number`s there to ring.

If you`re currently a Sky subscriber, your viewing card will continue to decode the Free To View (FTV) channels even after you`ve cancelled your subscription. You don`t need to request a separate card from the BBC - that`s intended for people who have bought digiboxes, but have never subscribed to Sky.
Be warned: some channels which are free on Freeview (terrestrial) are actually pay channels on Sky, and you`ll lose those if you cancel your sub. ITV2 is one example.

Yes, on Sky you get ITV2. If you cancel and get a BBC card you still get some channels like Sky News etc. but lose ITV2. Yet you get ITV2 on Freeview with an IDTV or a freeview box..
Strange.

But as ITV and ITV2 are s***e you arent missing anything...:-)
Has Boomerang gone pay-only now? Tuned in this morning for Scooby Doo and I just get a message telling me to upgrade my subscription. I just use it for the free to view channels and had it last week.
Don`t know about boomerang. Completely got rid of Sky a month ago. Like you say it was free without any subscription.
Just bought an IDTV so don`t even have Sky box connected up anymore.
What p***ed me off about ITV2 was last year I cancelled Sky and went to the Free to air card and couldn`t get ITV2 for Champion`s League footy.
