Page 1 of Connecting multiple sources to multiple TVs

I`d like to be able to watch DVD, satellite, terrestrial TV or video from any room in the house, preferably whilst also being able to change channels.

The DVD, video and Sky box all live in the lounge and I have another TV in a spare room and one in the bedroom.

I`ve seen these wireless transmitters thingys advertised but I don`t know if (a) they are any good and (b) if they have enough connectivity.

Has anyone got an elegant solution for this (preferably one which doesn`t involve rewiring the entire house!) ??

I can tell you know that the quality of video senders is excellent. You can hardly notice any difference from the original source. Toys R Us do one wiht Remote Extender so you can change channels etc for £49.99.

If you are going to spend more than that I recommend the silver Phillips one, for about £99.99 wiht remote extender. It`s a lot nice to look at and is better for the bigger house or if you suffer from inteference.

Have a look on eBay..there`s usually a lot of different ones on there.

Thanks for the advice - that sounds like the right direction to go in (to be honest quality of signal isn`t a big issue - the extension TVs are for the kids and they`re not old enough yet for their own widescreen/stereo setup!).

The only problem I can see with the Philips suggested is that it only has two inputs - does anyone know if you can get them with more?

Well, if they`re scart inputs you can easily buy a scart adaptor, say a three way one in each input would give you six inputs.

You can pick them up in Argos for about a tenner each, or on eBay for a few quid.
