Does anybody know what my chances are of getting a refund for my 6 month old faulty 750,I have heard that they will refund if they cannot offer you a similar replacement, which would be unlikely as they do not stock wharfdale dvd anymore do they?

The Tesco`s near me has a whole pile of 750 and 750S machines. After reading some of the posts in this forum mine`s going back tonight (I bought it yesterday !). The branch in question is Leytonstone, London, E11

The Tescos 750s DVD Player is fineas long as you have the 750s player

If you havn`t taken back your DVD Player yet!
What a min coz if you get the latest DVD mag (Total DVD) with Buffy the vamp slayer on front, it has the phone number of the tescos techinical help line and they will send someone out to upgrade you player to a 750s free of charge, which has all the needed chips and extras that you need for a great DVD player. I got a 750s and I have hacked it to a multiregion and everything works fine I also have the codes to make it region spersific (all is explained it the mag above as ther is an two page artical on the 750s)
When you get it canged you will see the difference I think it is a great DVD Player with the same quolitys as some of the more expencive players.

Hope this helps everybody that has questions about the 750s DVD Player.

Permission to agree - as mentioned, the only 750 to get, is the "S" version which has some nice little implementations...

Tesco`s in MK stock the S.

BTW, I saw a guy walking down the high st the other day with brand new 750 and he had never even heard about the "S" model.....
