A friend is contemplating buying a Sony DAV-S300 all in one system. Some opinions from current owners would be greatly appreciated.

not got one of those - but after v careful consideration decided pioneer nsdv55 was better - more power - more connections, better sound, and plays r1 and de-macrovisioned (by techtronics.com) and plays cd-rws....
