You`ll still need the RF (what you call UHF) lead between your digibox and the video, and from video to TV otherwise you won`t pick up normal analogue terrestrial telly (and if you`ve got Sky digital, that means no ITV).

The VCR should still tape from analogue telly AND from your digibox if you hook up this way : (assumes that your telly has two SCARTs)

DIGIBOX VID OUT - VCR AV1/L1/EUROCONNECTOR 1 : SCART
DIGIBOX TV OUT - TV AV2 : SCART
DVD - TV AV1 : SCART (also if you buy a DVD player where you can disable the copy protection system called Macrovision, you could have a second SCART from your DVD player to your VCR, if your DVD player has two SCARTs !)

RF LEAD from DIGIBOX to VCR
RF LEAD from VCR to TV

When you press PLAY on your VCR your TV will switch the picture automatically.

When you press POWER on your DIGIBOX the TV will switch the picture automatically.

When you press POWER on your DVD the TV will switch the picture automatically.

You can also tape stuff off analogue telly (via the RF lead) and watch either the DIGIBOX or DVD at the same time. (To tape off your DIGIBOX you`ll need to set your VCR to LINE 1, or INPUT LINE 1, or L1 as it is on mine : check your manual, there should be some instructions)

What you can`t do is tape one channel on the DIGIBOX and watch another.

Hopefully that clears it up - any more help required then please post further questions below, awright matey ?!
