i have ntl cable in my living room, i want to watch cable in my bedroom, i dont want a tv sender because that willl only enable me to watch whats on downstairs, would i be right in thinking that i would just need to get another cable box (e.g a second hand one) and connect it to my ntl with an adapter?, please help as i am a bit confused

Is your NTL:Digital?
Your right in that you need another box, but you will have to pay NTL £15 a month for the pleasure. You need a different card so you can watch different channels. You will have to get them in to take a feed off the present cable feed.

Aplogies if thats wrong but thats my setup

yes my ntl is digital, would i not be able to just buy a second hand box and use an adapter to connect both boxes to ntl enabling me to watch different programmes on each box?

I`m pretty sure you`d only get the free to view channels, if those, without a second card and £15 a month as suggested previously.
